Terms of Service

1. General

These terms of use apply to the browser-based software and SaaS services provided by Omega Orionis Oy (hereinafter "Service Provider"). The services are designed primarily for professional use, but they can also be purchased by individuals. By purchasing or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

The Service Provider delivers calculation and simulation software for the needs of the construction, energy, and real estate sectors (e.g., LCC, LCA, and optimization tools). The software is provided "as is" as web-based services, and no separate installation files are delivered to the customer.

3. Limitation of Liability (Important)

The Service Provider's software and calculators are intended for decision support. They automate routines and simulate scenarios based on the inputs provided.

• The Service Provider accepts no liability for physical construction solutions, investment decisions, or the profitability of bids made based on the results produced by the software.
• The ultimate responsibility for technical information, statutory requirements, and the accuracy of calculations always lies with the expert, company, or individual using the service.
• The Service Provider is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages, such as loss of profit or business interruption.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, subject to strict usage conditions to prevent abuse.

Because our services involve specialized data extraction and document generation, refunds within the 14-day window are only granted in cases of technical malfunction, billing errors, or if you have not actively used the software to generate, view, or export final reports. Once a report, calculation, or dataset has been successfully generated or exported, the service is considered fully consumed and is no longer eligible for a refund.

To request a refund under these conditions, please contact us via email. You may cancel your ongoing subscription at any time to prevent future billing.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights to the service (code, user interface, texts, logos, and algorithms) belong to Omega Orionis Oy. The customer receives only a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for the duration of the subscription. Copying, reselling, or reverse engineering the service, even partially, is strictly prohibited.
